Information Needed for Application
Joining the PIAU is as simple as completing this application and providing the documentation we request. After we receive your application and payment, a member of the PIAU Membership Team will contact you with further details.
You should prepare the following items in advance to make your application process quick and easy:
You will need to provide pdf, jpg, bmp, or tif copies of your identification:
- Drivers license or other government identification (not including your PI license)
- Private investigator license (the BCI-issued identification card)
- Private Investigator Agency license (for agencies only, this is the printed license with your “P” number issued to you by BCI in addition to your identification card)
You will also need to provide the full names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses of two professional references.
